The constant use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides had  miserable consequences on the agricultural front in India and elsewhere around the world. Pollution of the rivers and lakes,wells and other water sources combined with the destruction of the fertility of the soil and the soil structure has been a cause of worry for the farmers,consumers, the government and everyone else concerned with the welfare of all beings in this world.

OUR NATURAL FARM

The food grown with these chemical fertilisers and pesticides have caused more harm than good on the health of the people and animals on    this planet earth.Growing food naturally has its advantages of keeping the environment   clean and unpolluted,producing healthy food, protecting the biodiversity on this planet and so on.etables

Here at the Jaya Jagannatha Ashram, we have been trying to grow vegetables, fruits  and flowers using  products from the desi cows like dung,urine etc as fertilisers and pesticides.We have been following the system as taught by Shri Subhash Palekar of Amaravati,Maharashtra. Using these products made with cow dung and urine as a base we have got considerable success.

The Jivamrita is a miracle solution which has transformed the land here and very effective as a pesticide and fertiliser. We have been doing this practice of natural farming for the past four years and the experience is very encouraging.We will be providing  more details on Natural farming in the articles on this website on a regular basis.
